I love this recipe. I’ve made it three times now. The only thing I do different is squeeze half of a lemon into the sugar syrup. It just gives it another layer of flavor and that’s the way I like it but love the recipe.

The best sweet I have eaten in years is from Bharat Baklava. The sweetness is in perfect balance. Eat as much with no fear of diabetes. The Almond Pyramid are mouthwatering so are the Baklava Finger.

Bharat Baklava chain of shops is famous for their Indian sweets and savouries. They are very neat and clean and their staff is prompt and efficient! I recommend their mixed dry fruits, Almond Flake Truffle. They also have Anjeer Delight with almond fragments, which are very tasty.
